The Book And The Cover.
For the nth time, I gave a wrong answer to a question who could test a man’s capability of loving someone. Yes, I know that loving a girl isn’t about physical appearances – on how she dresses herself, her twirly hair and the way she walks. But it’s about the deeper personality, right?
Ako? Maganda, chinita, makinis, blah.
Am I too materialistic to consider girls as if they were Barbie Dolls? No. I just made the wrong answer. As mind-readers would say, if a man happens to answer that question with the physicals, the man is either: a dimwit, or looks at the physical appearance first.
No, not the Melanie Marquez saying – his brother is not a book, so don’t judge him.
Everytime I’d go inside a jeep, I would look at the passengers thoroughly. The watch, the hairstyle, every single piece of material they wear at the moment. Like a baggage checker on those airports, scanning. And vice versa, of course. They would measure me with my looks.
Once, I’m wearing cargo shorts, a black t-shirt, a black cap that seemed like hiding my face, and slippers. I gave my payment to the girl sitting next to me, but she refused to. Deadma. The fact that we’re the two remaining passengers, why not help me? So I went all the way near the driver and gave my fee, and stared at her with disgust, noticing her pig-tailed hair; maybe a Cadet Officer. Maybe she thought I’m a kidnapper or something, since I’m wearing a cap yet it’s almost dark.
Sometimes, it might be helpful for a couple of instances. A snatcher might not follow you all the way to the carpark because of your beggar-like appearance.
Well, could you blame people for judging someone by its cover?
Or is it just natural?

Weather’s crazy. The temperature’s for December, yet it’s almost February. What’s happening?

That’s what I hate about most of the people around me. They only guess what my personality is only with the use of taking a look at my physical appearance. Come on… I am more inside. Every inside of us is more than our looks and that’s what’s important.
Chris Benoit is not your Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who stars in blockbuster movies, but he can carry WWE well as champion.
Macy Gray is uglier than a thousand sewer rats combined, but the people don’t care. All they care about is her wonderful singing voice.
Blah blah blah. That’s why I keep things to myself and go mysterious than approaching people and make friends…
wahahaa! ako, ano ba hinahan ko sa girl, syempre dapat maganda, articulate, matalino, mabait, maganda ang buhok, magaling magdala ng damit, cute pag nakapink and most of all “good singing voice” to serenade me, syempre wala pa akong makita, kala mo naman kung sino akong wafu para magset ng masyadong mataas na standards… hahaha…
badtrip yung mga taong di nag-aabot ng bayad sa jeep, well yung iba nag-iinarte, nagjeep jeep sila eh tapos ayaw nilang mag-abot ng bayad, magtaxi kaya sila… well baka nga natakot sa yo… lols!

ang tindi nga ng lamig! wahehehe! i think it’s a sign of global warming – the abnormal weather pattern.
Baka wala sa mood yung babae. Or baka tamad. Ewan. Taray mode daw eh no?
Ang lameeeg. Nasa comp lab ako ngayon. Eeeek.
Ako? Maganda, chinita, makinis, blah.
May kilala ako! Gusto mo? Hahahaha!
Ikaw naman, girls nanaman. Pffft.
Wala lang kebin, mabait ako ngayon, may sakit ako eh. Dumaan lang ako! Ay aY! may bago akong blog!xD
Sometimes people do tend to look at appearances… they can’t help it. It’s what they see. Humans love “images”.. humans want to SEE it right away… humans love pictures..
its easier for humans to believe in things they see.. not in things that they cannot..
it just started snowing here…. and im freezing to death…
anyhoo.. its just normal to base first impressions on looks… but judgment should be deferred to when you’ve at least talked to the person…
hold-upers wouldn’t give you a second of the day if you looked like shit… hehehe.. or if your phone aint colored or stuff.. hehehe..
I guess natural lang iyon…You can judge the book by its cover but not too much…hehehe
And yeah…may cold front daw kaya malamig,I just hope this March would be warmer.
wala namang masama na kumilatis sa physical aesthetic ng tao, sometimes dun mo rin kasi makikita kung paano niya alagaan or kung paano nagraradiate ang kanyang personality through her looks.
inner beauty comes out of it’s shell, not hidden.
girls are to be treasured.
i strongly agree with jonell.
We cannot blame ourselves for being judgmental. People learned not to be judgmental because other people told them not to. Yet naturally, all the organisms in the world will do anything to survive… and that is judging a predator from a prey.

I’m back, Moses. Open the Dead Sea so i make habol everyone of you.
Ayun.
tinagg kita.
It’s just natural. People will first look at your face. If you’re good-looking they’ll look at you longer. And when you’re riding a jeep filled with passengers, they’ll look at what you’re wearing as if you don’t have the right to be in that dress. And they’ll judge you based on that.
That’s why I avoid looking at what other people are wearing so they’ll stop looking at me because yeah it is true that when you examine someone from head to foot, he/she will return the favor. I hate being looked at.
To answer your qeustion in bold type, yes what matters most is what’s inside. If you ask me I’m looking for someone pretehh someone I won’t be ashamed people would see the two of us together. But it all boils down to the personality in the end. Like if she’s a bitch, a flirt, or someone I don’t like, I ditch her.
“A snatcher might not follow you all the way to the carpark because of your beggar-like appearance” –> Safety first isn’t it? hehe
You got it! The weather is for December. I thought I was sick or something that I’m feeling really cold until I see in school someone wearing jacket.
on appearance: in the philippines, image is everything. ganyan din ang ginagawa ko para safe, pag-alis sa office, tinatago ko na ang long sleeves polo ko at maglalakad sa edsa na naka-undershirt lang. it works naman kasi isang beses, kahit na payatitot ako, napagkamalan pa rin akong sekyu raw.
on the climate: cold season naman dapat talaga until february. nagtataka nga ako kung bakit after the new year it became warm enough for the mosquitoes in our place to breed like it’s already summer.
There’s no use trying to compete against natural selection and evolution, man. Humans are shallow – that’s why we survived as a species.
