The Columnist.

Ten blocks away from our house would be me, walking and longing for sleep in a couch eating self-made Mojos dipped in mayonnaise and mustard. It was then that I’ve heard one of the coolest drunkards ever to sing Laklak. Only, his version goes like ~ kabilin-bilinan ng lola, huwag uminom ng serbisa…

I gave him a great laugh. He deserves it, anyway.

I want to be different. Not too weird. Isn’t it irritating to look at yourself and look outside and see that you and him were almost the same? Same haircut, same brand of T-Shirt, same shades, same hair color, same chinita girlfriend, same cellphone unit. Same, same, same. It’s just humiliating, as if my conscience would laugh and tell me that I belong with those trying hards.

What’s with stereotyping nowadays?

Well, I prefer wearing a plain T-Shirt with a shout-out like these ones.

1. “It’s hard to show I care SINCE I DON’T.”

2. “I won’t lower my standards just to raise yours!”

3. “Are you looking for Mr. Right, or Mr. Right Now?”

4. “Your girlfriend was my biggest fan.”

5. “My PenIs Big.”

My apologies for number five if it contains explicit nudity or something. In the T-Shirt I’ve seen at SM – there’s a BIG ballpen separating the words PEN and IS. Get it?

I adore those companies [designers] who made these significant t-shirts. No matter how plain the color is, no matter how lousy you are – you’d still captivate the eyes of many. May angas. May dating. Ayos!

I’m done. Finally, a random post. Ha-ha! I’m currently occupied with playing Heroes III of Might and Magic. Yeah, if you guys know that game! Released last 2000! or 1999! Haha, but still loving the poor graphics.

  1. I agree. Totally. Hindi ba naiirita yung mga tao ngayon na sa twing lalabas sila ng bahay eh madami silang kamuka. Nakakairita sa paningin.

  6. Hahaha. I love “statement” shirts. Actually, they’re like a “trend” here in Manila. And if I were given a chance to make my own “statement” shirt, it would be like…

    Satan Himself. Or… Hell’s Full, That’s Why I’m Here. >:)

  7. yea. i like those kinds of shirts too. plain, simple ones, but says a lot! haha

  8. I have those kinds of shirts. Lots of them, in fact. Mostly from FCUK. I really love them fcuked up, if you know what I mean. One time in college, I wore this shirt that goes like FCUK GUARANTEED and people from school were totally asking me where I bought it. Heads definitely rolled, I tell ya.

Hmmm… I’d definitely go for number 5… puhlease? That cracked me up
    big time. :-)

  9. huwaw. i love those statement shirts. haha. gusto ko un makita. pero hindi bilhin. haha. syempre, pang lalake eh. haha! :)

  14. Sayang talaga naubusan ako ng size ng shirt na nakalagay:

  19. stereotyping was alive then, and its still alive now.. ;)

hehe nice.. i love those shirts.. although, being bisaya, i have a preference for the ones by Bisaya Ispisyal :) caricatures plus the text. hehe

i saw one with a picture more or less looking like the typical superman logo.. only they used a sperm to form the “S” with medium sized words “SPERMAN” at the bottom. hehe.. nice

  22. This is out of the topic, vinkz but i wanna ask you…

Watched the newest Surf commercial already?

    ^_^

  23. O BTW… just noticed this line:

    Same, same, same

Brrargh. All my SCRAs (Supreme Court Reports Annotated) that i have to review and summarize (14 all in all) has same, same, same lines… arrrgh. I haven’t finished reading the 13 left.

    —–

it’ll be more humiliating if you and some magtataho from the slums somewhere down the road wear the same outfit. Just like what my dad experienced 12 years ago. Hahaha.

  24. Yeah Neil!!

    Mang-aasar ka na naman. GRRRRRRR.

  25. yung jogging pants na lang na may “pinch me” sa butt hahaha!!

pero seriously, how will you be different if everyone else is wearing a statement shirt?!

na-adik din kami dyan sa heroes mga 4 years ago. yung isa ko ngang dormmate ang tyaga gumawa ng sariling campaigns. ok lang mag-appreciate ng classic games. ako nga e starcraft pa rin :)
