Huge Rock Spinning Faster.
The NCAE (or National College Assessment Examination) would be taking place this December 12, 2006. The Department of Education revived the former NCEE and NCAT and formulated their own theory of adapting the modern educational standards. For the past years, the aforementioned exams took place to be a basis for College. Now, it’s back again. And we were informed a month before the exams so definitely, I, for one, am not prepared with the test. As usual, it will cover lessons from First Year to Fourth Year; including logarithmic equations, trigonometric figures and functions, the sine-cosine shits, geometric assumptions including theorems and postulates and proving those terms, and the simplest algebraic expressions. I expect that Math, as usual, will paralyze my neurons and scorch my illogical gray matter.
For now, the NCAE is final, but its effects were still pending.
All I know is that, the curriculum of the school will include our grade in the said exam: thus, combining it with our original grades. As my sister says it; those who ace the test were the happy-go-lucky guys who would rather dump notebooks on the waste bin.
The school will be conducting a review lesson this Saturday to re-discuss important lessons. Araling Panlipunan includes: Philippine, Asian, and World History plus Advanced Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Consumer Mathematics. With Math: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Advanced Algebra. I have no idea about English, and Filipino. Science would have: General Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
I don’t think that ‘card day’ would be this Saturday, but definitely – its our 2nd Grading Assembly.
USTET will be this Sunday. No reviews.
Next week would be our Third Grading Unit Tests. We only have three days to tackle the essential lessons. Days were so fast, Christmas is coming. Plus our Christmas Party, the Belen-making project, the Thesis in Physics and Filipino. I’d also be busy with the December issue of our school paper, then the Glee Club, and the YPS Projects. January would be the Intramurals, St. Paul’s Week. February would be the JS Prom. And the first week of March would be the Finals.
This huge rock is spinning faster than the moon could ever imagine.
Enjoy life. It’s not about doing good but being real. Maximize the enjoyment. Cherish the moments of playing Pusoy Dos in the classroom, of being with your bestfriend, of eating in McDonalds and going home at 8, of doing projects, of overnight swimmings, of getting drunk, of everything.
Eat, drink, and be happy. (6:51 PM – November 16)\
*Batch picture was photographed today, and it was great. Looking forward for the yearbook!*

All those college tests are nothing but a fleeting blur in my memory. But I think you shouldn’t stress yourself too much thinking about them. They aren’t that had really.
Like you said, you should have fun and enjoy life. Its a good thing that you ended this post in a happy note, just goes to show you appreciate the total high school experience. I promise, you’ll miss it in the future…
