Callous.
Depending on my mood, my writing is against my persona.
I am tall, and messy when it comes to my things. I always end up cursing a ballpen, shouting its name (that is, if the ballpen knows how to walk), or even blaming a maligno over a lost ballpen.
My writing would be the neatest thing I’ve ever had in my life. Small. Red-and-black. Clean.
I started to enjoy writing when I was in the sixth grade. School taught me the Paulinian writing, the cursive ones. Those loopy figures of g and y and the curly f or something. It taught me to follow the guide lines. Over months, I mastered the light and heavy strokes. I managed to control my hand, to apply the right force.
High School messed with my writing, until I ended the loopy writing and taught myself to write letter-by-letter. I denied the guide lines, I extinguished all the lessons I’ve had about the Paulinian writing. I wanted that my lectures would not be boring; drawings are found at the sides if ever I wanted to spill my boredom, and the red (for important notes and keywords) and black to somehow give elegance to my superb writing.
Our Economics teacher asked the class – who could volunteer to write my lecture on the board?
And the class shouts in chorus – Myla.
Then, it changed to – *insert my fucking name here*
There I was, punching my kabarkadas and went on the blackboard – writing the four-page lecture. My hands were so tired after the long writing.

Yesterday was my lucky day, since I’ve seen him all alone waiting for his lucky chance that a jeep would stop by at him. Maybe, he’s finished with a stick of cigarette and would go home. Deep inside me, as I look from your fucking face up to your dusty shoes – I loathe you and detest every inch of you. (This post narrates our epic of rivalry.)
Pity him for he didn’t even have the shadow to assist his loneliest moments.

I’ve seen Rabi awhile ago. Then, U-Jay yesterday. Then, practiced with PYSC from 7:30 onwards. Now, I’m feeling tired and sleepy. Tomorrow’s our Annual Picture Taking. Graduation’s on the corner!

ha, the ‘paulinian’ handwriting. never wrote that way–then again my handwriting’s fairly ugly, so that’s that. heh.
haha, i love Paulinian Handwriting, kaso nga lang – pagdating ng High School… Wala na!
i also developed a fair handwriting, and was a victim of copy-my-lecture teachers. nakakainis. i know the feeling, and i sympathize.
there’s another style of writing, the engineer’s way of writing. oh my, almost each letters have symmetry. kailangan pantay-pantay lahat, kahit sa mga reports nila sa manila paper or blackboard. parusa yun!
ay kamusta.hehehe..i can relate with you. ganyan din ako nung hs.haha.
haha. buti na lang my handwriting’s neither that good nor that bad. lucky me i only wrote on the board when i volunteered as a student teacher way back in high school. =)
anyways, u should be really excited now! graduation’s just around the corner! whew!
back in highschool they forced us to write like that.. *i sucked at it*.. i’d always write in letter-by-letter.. much easier.. plus my handwriting looks better like that.. hehe..
What is the Paulinian writing? Yun ba yung script? Yung dikit dikit? Hahaha. Script lang kasi tawag ko dun ee.
I used to write beautifully in script. Kaya lang tinamad ako nung Grade Six. Hee. But when it comes to homeworks [especially essays,] todo career ako sa pags-script.
*how dare you remind me of graduation?*
just kidding.
omg. i just remember i’m [we're] gonna graduate in five months. new year’s fast approaching and i can’t do anything about it.
handwriting? that’s the only thing you’re neat at? you’re lucky then. i think most guys write in a way ‘na parang kinaykay ng manok’.
well, ‘the whore’ – I am artistically gifted.
yes, redg. it’s the script type of writing. let’s say – uhh, monotype corsiva will do!
ayun.
i could remember my days when i was still a high school student..i used to write all day..all those lectures and notes…i even i have a collection of ballpen..different colors just to have a colorful notebook…love you penmanship, love writing down and having a neat and nice penmanship..cause only a few who has a gift like that…take care…
by the way, i added u sa links ko…tc…=)
I’m proud to say that I have a pretty good handwriting skills. Pang-grade 4 ang laki ng letters ko. Haha!
You are lucky to have a neat handwriting! Never in my life have I seen a guy who has a neat handwiting. Ikaw pa lang! Tsk, too bad I didnt learn to write in cursive. My handwriting is neater when I use gothic.
I love my handwriting, too. Haha!
And I also love writing lectures on the board. Ewan. I just love to write and write and write and write. Hehe.
I also mastered the paulinian way of writing when I was in St. Paul-Paranaque before..but when I transferred to Seton, my way of writing changed. But its ok.
I’ll be on hiatus till God knows when.
my hs teachers w0uld never want me t0 write their lectures (n0t that any 0f them ask us t0 d0 s0) simply because i have the sec0nd m0st minute writing in the class.
hindi na ata ak0 marun0ng mag-script ngay0n. it’s s0 sad. v_v
maganda ang paulinian hand writing.. pag pinagtabi tabi ang mga notes, madidistinguish mo kung paulinian o hinde..
~~
mahilig ako magnotes pero di maganda sulat ko.. kahit naging secretary ako ng values ed noong first year ako.. hays. naalala ko ang sabi ng math teacher namin ngaun.. ur handwriting is the mirror image of your personality (sinabi nya yan habang naglelesson about mirror image ng graphs.. hehe)
~~
til here!
You started writing at an early age, huh? Good for you.
I’m very much pleased to say that my handwriting isn’t that much of a “kinahig ng manok” style but still, I am the only who can understand it. Too bad because I’m a girl and girls are expected to actually have good handwritings. Maybe I’m not really a girl after all. Ehehehe…
You’re a part of the 20% of the males who have good handwriting skills. Lucky…
i have such a very good handwriting for a guy. so they actually cant believe that is me who writes so legibly and clean with all letters proportional.
also, i have been the chemistry class secretary. good for you. you only wrote four pages. by the end of third year chemistry, i wrote almost six chapters. ugh.
peace!
i love my handwriting.
people love my handwriting.
umabot sa pinto na ako ang gianwang secretary ng class.
haynakoh.
its a curse.
iba ka talaga magsulat……………
nako, mikmik. wala ka na namang masabi wahaha.
apir, jod! parehas tayo. kaso, sa tingin ko mas maganda yung aken!
