Nine staples.

First time to write here in WordPress. I’ve grown tired and weary of Blogger – the height of tension with the pop-ups and other personal reasons gave me the very reason to put an end in my nine-month stay in my Utakgago blog. I somehow think that changing my URL would be better. The profane word, however, still runs in my blood. It became my trademark while staying in Blogger, and I hope it will not wane.

Definitely, as almost all people say – WordPress has a lot to boast. It automatically saves my post, whether finished or still working on it. It somehow assures that your worldly words are secured from brownouts or emergencies. The thing I love here in WordPress, is that you could create a page. So you have a navigation wherein readers can surf and play with (if they wish to). You could also protect confidential posts with a password; thus called password-protected posts. They also have their spelling checker; formulated especially for tongue-twisted people like me.

But still, Blogger has one advantage.

HTML Coding. WordPress, are somehow professionally made. Their blogs are more of corporate ideas and functions, thus making everything formal. Blogs here are formal (except hosted blogs). As to compare with Blogspot blogs wherein you could change your cursor, header, or even insert thingamajigs in the status bar or moving texts in the title bar. You could put any code in your blog: while here at WordPress – everything should be clean.

I guess, WordPress are not really for teens like me.

But then, I still want a new environment.

As for this new blog, I hope I could retain contentment with a very simple ‘ready-to-use’ layout. It’s too simple for me, isn’t it? Utakgago is still here; new name but same identity. New URL but the same ideas, same posts, and wacky yet sensible (or is it?) words.
